Candy Cane Coockies

Ingredients:
315g ------ all-purpose flour
100g ------ candy canes (50g crushed into big pieces, 50g crushed into fine powder)
1/4 tsp ---- salt
1/2 tsp ---- baking soda
3/4 tsp ---- baking powder
250ml ----- butter, softened
180g ------- brown sugar
50g --------- granulated sugar
1 ----------- egg
1.5 tsp ----- vanilla extract

Directions:

1、In bowl, beat together butter and brown and granulated sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla extract.

2、 In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 50g candy canes powder; stir into butter mixture in 3 additions.

3、 Form dough into small balls (about 15ml each), press slightly when placed on lined baking sheets. Bake in center of 375F (180℃) oven for 5-6 minutes. Remove and sprinkle some chopped candy cane over cookies, pressing gently into each. Bake until golden, 5-8 minutes longer. Let cool on pan on racks for 5 minutes, transfer to racks; let cool completely.
